DIY Aloe Vera Mask For Skin and Hair

Aloe vera gel has always got your back, from boosting collagen production to healing wounds. Most people use aloe vera gel for the face, but it also boosts your hair's health. Homemade Aloe gel face masks for skin: 

1) Aloe Vera and Honey:

Ingredients: 

  • 2 tsp honey 
  • 1 tsp aloe vera gel 
  • 1/4 tsp ground cinnamon.  

Process: 

  • Mix the honey and aloe gel together and mix well. 
  • Add cinnamon powder. 
  • Spread the face mask evenly on your skin. 
  • Enjoy some me time while the mask shows magic for 5-10 minutes. 
  • Rinse with normal water and moisturize.

Ingredients: 

  • 1 tsp aloe vera gel (2 for people with sensitive skin) 
  • 1 tsp Apple Cider Vinegar 
  • 1 tsp water 

Process: 

  • Mix ACV and aloe gel; add some water to it.  
  • Spread evenly on your face and neck. 
  • Allow it to dry for 20 minutes; taking a power nap or listening to relaxing music can release stress.  
  • Wash it off with warm water.

Most people use aloe vera gel for skin brightening. But only a few know that you can also use aloe vera gel for hair growth and conditioning. This hair mask recipe contains two main hair-nourishing ingredients: Coconut oil and aloe vera gel. The lauric acid in coconut oil contains lauric acid, which has nourishing properties and is prone to soak into every hair strand.  

Ingredients: 

  • 2 tsp aloe vera gel 
  • 3 tsp coconut oil 
  • 1 tsp honey 

Process: 

  • Mix the ingredients and massage gently on your scalp 
  • Let it stay for 30 minutes. 
  • Wash off with a gentle shampoo.

Process: 

  • Mix the ingredients in a bowl. 
  • Massage your scalp gently.

  • Shampoo your hair the following day.  

Caution: If you are sensitive to cold, wash it afterwards instead of leaving it overnight.

  • Wash with lukewarm water. 
  • Avoid shampoo afterwards; air dry would be the best.
